On Saturday March 20, 2010, Alfonso & Alexander DiFrangia of Camden Motors Racing along with Rudy Aguiar, hoped for warm weather and took a trip to Innisfil Indy to dust off the cobwebs from their karts that had been gathering over a long winter.  Alexander and Rudy took to the track and completed numerous laps before their out of shape bodies could not handle the stresses of racing any longer! Overall everyone was happy to get back on the track and we are looking forward to the new season ahead.

Camden Motors racing takes a strong stance at Innisfil Kart Clubs double header this past weekend.  Riley Staples, Rudy Aguiar and Alexander DiFrangia were the drivers on hand to represent Camden Motors Racing.

Riley displayed maturity and consistency setting himself up for a perfect weekend after grabbing the pole, taking a clean sweep of the Junior Heavy class. Riley led every lap from qualifying to final on both Saturday and Sunday.

Masters driver Rudy Aguiar had an eventful and challenging weekend competing against the likes of track owner Tony Launi to prevail with two second place finishes.  Saturday’s race had Rudy and Paul Draganac dragging it out for a close finish in the final.  Sunday’s final race was no less exciting as on the second last lap Rudy and Tony collided, taking them both off the track.  Luckily both were able to regain their positions and finish the race.

Senior driver Alexander came away with two first place wins this weekend. Saturday began with a poor handling chassis and a severe clutch issue. With lots of hard work and brain storming Alexander and his father – Alfonso – were able to fix these problems for the final race; enabling Alexander to come away with a first place win.  Sunday was a different story as the pair came to the track prepared to race and they did just that. Alexander took the pole position for both the pre final and final, to cap off an excellent weekend.

Riley, Rudy and Alexander would like to thank Alfonso DiFrangia (engine builder) and their mechanics for all their hard wok and time. Without their efforts such excellent results would not have been possible.
